Inspired By: The Fashion Turd

I know a lot of you are scratching your heads right now, right? Have no fear. The Fashion Turd is a blog run by the delightful Holly. Her blog is like a breath of fresh air in the blogging world. To sum it up in her own words, "Standing waif-like in a field of daisies in sandals with the seemingly obligatory lens flare is not a pre-requisite for style blogging!"

A couple of months ago she cleaned out her closet and gave away a ton of clothes. That's right, gave them away. She lives in London and was generous enough to even ship overseas, which is how Maya ended up with this adorable striped shirt.

First, I styled Maya in a Holly inspired getup. I focused on her love of colors and pattern mixing.

  4. That IS a cute shirt! I love the cluster of buttons. And I'm definitely going to check out that blog because I love the "anti-waif in a field" sentiment.
