This post doesn't involve a super dramatic transformation. Just a simple change of clothes for a fairly casual restaurant, because I literally had about five minutes to change.

I'm pretty sure that Uggs are verboten on style blogs, but seriously, I. Don't. Care. I was running around in my grey flats on a rainy day and they got soaked, so in the name of sweet comfort I changed into my Uggs. I'm pretty sure I wasn't out in public in them very long. Though I won't make any promises about that once Autumn sets in.
I also wanted to take a moment to talk about makeup, because I didn't put on my eyebrows for this picture. I don't wear makeup everyday, so I don't usually put on much for my outfit photos. But I am usually vain enough to fill in my very sparse eyebrows and throw on some concealer for them, because I think the no eyebrow look only works for Whoopi Goldberg and Eastern European runway models.

This photo was not taken Friday night since it was literally change clothes run out the door. Simple transformation but it made me feel a little more presentable.
The best part? I didn't get any pizza on my white pants! Huzzah!
P.S. No Throwback Thursday this week since I'm still so behind after being ill. It'll be back with a vengeance next week.
I love the white pants, such a cute cut too! I am an eyebrow queen, I feel naked w/out putting them on. But mine are think in the middle and sparse on the ends, so if I didn't fill in the rest it would look weird. I DO highly recommend eyebrow tattoos! I get them done years ago and loved it. But I only got them done once (you are supposed to go back for a second sweep for them to be permanent), so they've faded away over the years.
ReplyDeleteI'm a little wary of eyebrow tats because I scar easily. One of my tattoos has some raised keloid type areas. But it would be great not to have to worry about it. I wish they would approve that Latisse stuff for use on eyebrows. I'd do it.
