So, last Sunday, we were hit with the tornado. After all the damage was done, my mom and I walked around and surveyed our neighborhood. Of course, we were lucky enough to live on one of the streets where the storm caused the most damage. Anyway, we took some photos and watched the emergency services work on clearing the streets. When we got home, we looked around for my kitty, Mary Jane. She had been missing for the entire length of the storm.
Don't let her sweetness fool you. She's a vicious killer.
As we were walking up the driveway, noticed a small bundle of fur under the window air conditioner. Looking down, I realized that it was a baby bunny!
We wrapped it up in a towel and showed it to Trevor. Seeing it was the one Mary Jane had caught right before she fled into the storm, he suggested leaving it for her to finish. We instead kept it warm and dry, and waited for an hour or two.
Mary Jane came back while we had the bunny. She was wet and nervous, but okay. We kept her far away from the bunny. Fortunately, the bunny was soon kicking!
We let it go under the shed where the bunny society lives.
So yeah, so...the bunny's fine (as far as I know) and Mary Jane is now a tornado survivor!

OMG that is adorable! I am sorry to hear about the tornado though! Glad your cat is still ok!
