This is one of those outfits that seemed to work a lot better in the mirror than in pictures. I'm never sure which to trust in those cases.
I think I will definitely look into finding a belt or something else to help define my waist in this shirt. I really love it because it's such a nice buttery yellow, soft and lightweight. Perfect for humid days. However, I'm quite the hourglass and it's not really showcasing that. This was the first time I wore it. I bought it in late January, in a moment of craving springtime. Definitely not in love with it yet.
I am in love with the shoes. I haven't worn platforms since the late nineties. They're super tall, but pretty easy to walk in. You just have to remember that even though it doesn't feel like it, you are basically walking around on stilts. No sudden moves! If I decide to jump on the maxi dress bandwagon this summer, these will be a must.
What trends or styles are you most looking forward to wearing this summer?
I find that my outfits often look different in my mirror than in pictures. I think that's a really interesting part of the remix project. You get an different view of what you wear and how proportions look on you from a different "eye". Yeah, I'm totally going to have to rock this challenge too.
